This program guides you through a self-assessment of your study and test taking skills. To ensure the most benefit to you, please respond as accurately and honestly as you can. Based on your responses, the program offers suggestions for success in your nursing program. Please consider using these suggestions as they are likely to have a positive effect on your nursing school experience. Both your individual responses and the responses of all students as a whole will be used by your faculty to plan instruction and determine support services to help you succeed. All your responses and reports will be handled as confidential information and used only for professional and educational purposes.

As you work through the Start Right in Nursing School program, you will respond to a series of statements. If you would like to have each statement read to you, just click on the AUDIO button on that page. To turn off the audio, click the AUDIO button again.

If you would like to turn off the video so it does not play as you move through the program, click on the VIDEO button. To turn the video back on, click the VIDEO button again.

You can obtain printouts of your results and our recommendations in four ways:

At the end of each section:

1. Use your Browser’s print button, or
2. Click the EMAIL button to send the document to your e-mail address. You can then download the document from your e-mail program and print it as you desire.

When you finish the Start Right program:

1. Click the View button to view a final report booklet, or
2. Click the EMAIL button to send the final report booklet to your e-mail address. You can then download the booklet from your e-mail program and print it as you desire.

If you don’t have time to finish the entire program, that’s all right. You may exit the program at any time by clicking the LOGOUT button. When you return at a later time, you will be able to start where you left off, that’s not a problem.

After you complete the Start Right program, you may review your information, our recommendations, and your final report booklet.
